Parent Portal – An email will be sent out to all new families for 2021 in January. This will provide you with log on details to access the Parent Portal. For those families who may have lost or forgotten their log on, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to have these reset.
Personal Details – At the start of the new term you will be emailed a link where you can update your details if there have been any changes. It is important that we have the most up to date contact details for you in case of emergencies. To notify us of any changes during the year, please contact email@example.com.
You can purchase stationery online at Office Max. It is best to place orders before 13 January to ensure delivery before school starts. Some items will be supplied by subject teachers and charged to the Goldsheet. Term one you will see two charges – Publications – $50, which covers Student Handbook/diary, School Year Book and Digital Licences – $30, which covers software licences for students.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
Rangi Ruru Girls’ School operates a compulsory ‘Bring Your Own Device’ (BYOD) policy. This means that every student will be expected to bring a digital device and charger, that is capable of connecting to a wireless network and browsing the internet. Visit BYOD to learn more and find out what support options are available through our IT Services team.
To allow students to get off to a seamless start when they start at Rangi Ruru, we will be emailing all new students in late-January with their school username and password, along with links and instructions to download and install Microsoft Office and Teams.
We will also provide information about useful apps that students can install on their devices, should they wish.
It is important that all students do this prior to the school year starting. Should anyone have any issues with this process, there will be information on how to contact and come into the IT Helpdesk for assistance
