GETTING CONNECTED SESSIONS – Monday 23 January – Friday 27 January
In order to allow your daughters to get off to a seamless start we are running ‘Getting Connected’ sessions to set up their devices during the week before Term 1 starts for new students in 2017. There will be two sessions a day at 10.30am and 2.00pm running for approximately 90 minutes. The sessions will be in the Gibson Centre and there will be signs out giving directions.
During these sessions girls will have their devices joined to the Rangi Ruru student wireless network, set up their school Office 365/email accounts, download and install the Microsoft Office suite and be shown how to use the OneDrive online storage to backup their files. They will also run through a simple Digital Citizenship exercise, a precursor to a more complete course they will take part in during Term 1.
The sessions are for the girls and, while parents are welcome they are not required to stay and can collect their daughters at the end of the session.
